Project highlights

picture of mural with artists who created it

The City of Niagara Falls Culture created a street art and mural program to bring more art to our streets and public spaces. Murals and street art help brighten our neighbourhoods, make our city feel safer, and bring people together.

Check out the Murals page to learn more!

Trail Mix is an auditory accompaniment to your walk, featuring the work of local artists. You can listen to the mix while enjoying the sights of the Millennium Trail. QR codes along the trail will take you to music, humour or spoken word on your smart device.

Check out the Trail Mix page before your next walk!

Collage of various artwork for the 2019 wheat paste project

We used wheat paste art to create fun, temporary street art around Niagara Falls. These artworks celebrate the city’s history and bring art to surprising places, like old buildings and busy streets. They help people remember the past while enjoying something new.

What is wheat paste?

Wheat paste is a sticky glue made from flour and water. People have used it for centuries to make crafts, posters, and collages. It’s a favourite for street art because it helps paper stick to walls and other surfaces.
