The Sports Wall of Fame honours those whose athletic achievements have brought pride to Niagara Falls. It also recognizes those who have dedicated their time, knowledge, and passion to creating a thriving sports community.

The Sports Wall of Fame is proudly displayed at the Gale Centre, 5152 Thorold Stone Road, in the foyer and the Sam Long Room. Visit us to see plaques that honour past inductees.

Who can be nominated?

We recognize individuals and teams who have excelled in sports through outstanding performance, leadership, or contributions to local athletics. Categories include:

• Athletes – Individuals who have been outstanding in their athletic field
• Teams – Groups of two or more athletes with remarkable accomplishments
• Builders – Officials, referees, umpires, coaches, trainers and others who have significantly contributed to our community's sports development
• Sponsors – A business, corporation, or group that has supported sports for at least five years
