Municipal crews have mobilized and initiated a full sanding operation in response to the Winter weather event affecting our area.
Sanding units have been dispatched and all city streets will be treated throughout the day. City staff will continue to monitor the prevailing weather and road conditions and will adjust the operation as required. This operation may continue into the evening.
Selected sidewalks routes will be addressed as part of this operation.
Residents who intend on traveling should check the weather and leave additional time for travel.
Residents are also reminded to adjust their driving habits as they may encounter less than ideal road conditions.
