Description
The City of Niagara Falls fire hydrant flushing program will begin on March, 24 2025, and continue on into the fall of 2025. This is performed as part of a scheduled preventative maintenance program to help maintain good water quality and to improve water flow in your neighbourhood. The flushing will begin in the areas bordered by Dorchester ,Stanley, TSR and the North city limit (see map for further detail). If you reside in this area, you may notice a temporary decrease in your water pressure, and may experience discoloured water. If discolouration occurs, running a cold water tap closest to your water meter for a short period of time should alleviate the problem.
