![National Drowning Prevention Week]()
The Lifesaving Society designates the third week in July (July 20-26, 2025) as National Drowning Prevention Week (NDPW) to focus community and media attention on the drowning problem and drowning prevention.
This summer, the theme is Safer Together. It’s essential to stay safe in the water and be mindful of keeping your child within arm’s reach while swimming, swimming where lifeguards are, and not swimming or boating alone.
??The City of Niagara Falls Aquatics Team was awarded the 2024 Regional Water Safety Trophy last year for its efforts in running activities at our outdoor pools during National Drowning Prevention Week. We look forward to building on that achievement with even more activities this year!
