NIAGARA FALLS, ON - This year, the City of Niagara Falls and the Environmental Action Committee are organizing a community clean-up event on Saturday, October 19, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon starting at the MacBain Community Centre.
During the clean-up activity, residents will collect debris from municipal parks, trails, and boulevards. This is a great opportunity for students to acquire community service hours and also for families and co-workers to collectively make an effort to help clean up debris from problematic areas in the City. Interested volunteers can register for the event online by visiting https://niagarafalls.ca/cleansweep.
Volunteers will be given gloves, a safety vest (if required), garbage bags and pickers (limited). All volunteers are requested to register online prior to the event, however, walk-ins on the day of the event are welcome.
Volunteers are encouraged to post their clean-up adventures on social media by tagging us on Facebook (@CityofNiagaraFallsCanada), Instagram (@niagarafallsontario) or X (@NiagaraFalls).
