The Market season will start on May 18 at its new, permanent home, The Niagara Falls Exchange.
NIAGARA FALLS, ON—Niagara Falls' award-winning Farmers' Market will open at its new permanent home, The Niagara Falls Exchange (5943 Sylvia Place), on Saturday, May 18, from 7 am to 1 pm, and will run every Saturday until October 26, 2024.
The Market temporarily relocated to the MacBain Community Centre in 2020 when The Exchange project broke ground. The City is excited to welcome the Market back to the Main and Ferry neighbourhood and offer an elevated experience in the new 3,000-square-foot Market Hall; built on the site of the original Niagara Falls Farmers’ Market, which had operated on Sylvia Place since the 1970s.
On May 18th, marketgoers can expect a variety of offerings at The Exchange, including local produce, flowers, homemade baked goods & food, artisan goods and art from various Niagara-based creators. The first 100 marketgoers will receive a limited edition Niagara Falls Exchange canvas tote bag. There will also be live music, face painting, art installations and fun family activities.
