NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls will host a ribbon cutting at AG Bridge Park on Friday, October 6, at 4:00 pm to celebrate the completion of the Court Enhancement Project. In conjunction with the Minister of Economic Development through the Canada Community Revitalization fund, over one million dollars of court refurbishment has been completed across six City of Niagara Falls parks.
The parks include:
- AG Bridge Park (6706 Culp Street)
- AJ McKinley Park (4868 Crysler)
- Alpine Park (7830 Alpine Drive)
- Glenview Park (4521 Leader Lane)
- Preakness Park (7857 Preakness Street)
- Westfield Park (6983 Warden Avenue)
AG Bridge Park has benefitted from the project, with the reconstruction of two tennis courts with premium surfaces, replacement of two tennis courts, and the completion of one multi-purpose basketball court.

About the Canada Community Revitalization Fund
The Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) is a two-year, $500 million national infrastructure program to revitalize communities across Canada. Not-for-profit organizations, municipalities, other public institutions, and Indigenous communities can apply for funding for projects that aim to revitalize downtown cores and main streets, reinvent outdoor spaces, create green infrastructure, and increase the accessibility of community spaces.
