NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) provides a voice for the youth of Niagara Falls by advising City Council about recreational and social issues important to the City's younger population. It is an opportunity for Niagara Falls youth to get involved and advocate for initiatives that will enhance the quality of life, health, and well-being of the youth in our community.

The MYAC team is comprised of youth representing a mix of grades and backgrounds from local high schools in Niagara Falls and City residents at schools outside Niagara Falls. Once appointed, members spend the school year advising on prominent issues and planning special events to engage with and help strengthen the youth community of Niagara Falls.

MYAC has supported local charities and businesses, hosted educational events and sports tournaments, supported youth mental health projects, and more!

Comprised of several sub-committees, including Youth Voice, Green, and Just for Fun, there is something for everyone to help give back to the community!

Applications are not based on grades! We're looking for enthusiastic, community-minded youth!
