NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls will honour 46 individuals and corporate sponsors at the 42nd Annual Volunteer Recognition Awards. The fun event will take place at the Stamford Centre Volunteer Firemen's Association (S.C.F.V.A.) hall, located at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Members of City Council will be attending to celebrate some of the City's most dedicated volunteers.

This year, 27 individuals and 11 corporate sponsors will receive recognition for their outstanding volunteer contributions. In addition, special awards are granted to eight individuals who continuously demonstrate exceptional volunteer work. All award recipients are residents of the City of Niagara Falls or have made a significant volunteer contribution to the community.

A big thank you to all of the volunteers within the Niagara Falls Community. Residents can view this year's list of recipients on the City’s official website.
