Congratulatory Certificates
The City of Niagara Falls is proud to recognize and celebrate the achievements and special milestones of our local businesses, groups, and community members. You can request a congratulatory certificate from the Mayor for a variety of significant occasions.
Ways to submit a request
You can request a congratulatory certificate in a few easy ways:
- Complete the online form
- Phone 905-356-7521
- Email service@niagarafalls.ca, including the recipient’s name, occasion, date, and any relevant background details
Note: Requests should be submitted at least three weeks in advance to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
Eligible occasions
Certificates may be issued for the following milestones (in five-year increments):
- Milestone birthdays (ages 60 and over)
- Wedding anniversaries (25 years and over)
- Business anniversaries (significant milestones)
Important information
- Requests should be submitted at least three weeks in advance of the date the certificate is needed
- Certificates will be mailed to the address provided in your request
- If you request an in-person delivery or appearance by the Mayor or a Council delegate, please notify us of your request so we can coordinate accordingly
