Canada Day 2026
Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
We are excited to announce that the 2026 event will be extended until 8:00 pm. Enjoy the same energy and excitement you're accustomed to at a Canada Day celebration in Niagara Falls, as the festival event format continues at the beautiful Firemen's Park.
There will be live music and entertainment, interactive kids' shows, activities for all ages, food, vendors, inflatables, and more! With free shuttle buses to and from the event.
Call for community booths
The City of Niagara Falls is now accepting applications from local sports organizations, non-profits, and community services.
Please note that community booths are not entitled to perform any fundraising activities or sell any products, services or merchandise (souvenirs) or refreshments at their booth during the event. Should you wish to do so, please complete the appropriate application.
- Event times: The event has been extended from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Set up and tear down will be outside these times.
- Fees: $35 (includes taxes). Should staff deem you are presenting a substantial activation for event guests, this fee may be waived. Please note that community booths must provide their own setup (the booth fee does not include any tents, tables, chairs or guarantee of access to electricity).
- Important dates: Applications received by Friday, May 15, will be notified by Monday, June 1. If spaces still exist, a second round of community booths may be added from applications received no later than May 30.

Call for commercial or artisan vendors
The City of Niagara Falls is now accepting applications from Niagara Regional businesses, marketing firms, artisans and handmade vendors.
Please note that commercial booths are not entitled to sell refreshments at their booth during the event (free samples only). Should you wish to do so, please complete the appropriate food vendor application.
- Event times: The event has been extended from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Set up and tear down will be outside these times.
- Fees: $100 (includes taxes). Should staff deem you are presenting a substantial activation for event guests, this fee may be reduced. Staff will connect with groups indicating they are providing an interactive experience to adjust your vendor fee as appropriate. Please note that vendors must provide their own setup (the booth fee does not include any tents, tables, chairs or guarantee of access to electricity). Vendor spaces for Commercial/Artisans will be very limited.
- Important dates: Applications received by Friday, May 15, will be notified by Monday, June 1. If spaces still exist, a second round of vendor booths may be added from applications received no later than May 30.

Call for food vendor applications
The City of Niagara Falls is now accepting applications from interested refreshment providers.
- Event times: The event has been extended from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm (serving). Set up and tear down will be outside these times.
- Fees: Niagara Region Businesses: $250 (includes taxes). Out of region: $275 (includes taxes).
- Important dates: Applications received by Sunday, March 1, will be notified by Friday, March 13, 2026. Those received by Friday, May 15, will be notified by Monday, June 1, 2026.

Volunteer opportunities
Calling all volunteers for our 2026 Canada Day celebrations! The event will be hosted at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls.

Call for entertainers and performers
The City is seeking individuals and groups to provide a performance/entertainment to engage Canada Day attendees including, but not limited to: music/bands, dance, cultural performances, costumed characters, interactive activities (games, crafts), face painting and magic.
Short-listed entertainers will be contacted by staff to discuss suitability for the event and compensation.

Paid parking
On-site parking is available in limited quantities for a $10.00 donation. Funds received from the paid on-site parking will be provided to local not-for-profit organizations to be determined in 2026.
All parking at the shuttle bus stops is free! Please plan to take the shuttle.

We'll have free and accessible Niagara Region Transit buses running for the full duration of the event! Parking at all shuttle bus stops is free!
Stops are available on the Downtown route at City Hall and the Gale Centre, and on the South route at Canadian Drive, the MacBain Community Centre, and Club Italia. Full 2026 schedule will be listed closer to the event.
