Niagara District Airport

The Niagara District Airport is located in the heart of the world-famous Niagara Region. Its 5,000-foot runway is used for business, tourism, and private charter traffic. It also supports emergency service providers.

What we do

The Niagara District Airport Commission manages the airport on behalf of three municipalities.

  • City of Niagara Falls
  • City of St. Catharines
  • Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake

They are responsible for the airport's strategic direction and operating policies, the annual budget, and the appointment of the CEO.

Commission members

The Commission is made up of nine people, including one elected councillor from each of the three municipalities and six individuals nominated by the municipalities. The members serve a four-year term (2023-2026).

For a list of members, visit the Niagara District Airport website.
