Family Day Weekend in Niagara Falls: Friday, February 13 to Monday, February 16


NIAGARA FALLS, ON — With a long weekend and a PD Day on the calendar, the City of Niagara Falls is inviting families to get out and enjoy a wide range of activities happening across the city on Friday, February 13 (PD Day) and Monday, February 16 (Family Day).
Activities will take place at the MacBain Community Centre, Gale Centre Arena, Niagara Falls Exchange, Niagara Falls History Museum, and Niagara Falls Public Library locations.

PD Day - Friday, February 13
MacBain Community Centre (7150 Montrose Rd.)
- Valentine Crafts: A hands-on craft program celebrating creativity and Valentine's Day fun. All supplies are provided.
- Niagara Falls Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) 2026 Niagara Regional 3-on-3 Youth Basketball Tournament.
- Who: Niagara students in Grades 9-12
- Cost: Free
- Drop-in programs including open swim, pickleball, volleyball, and more.
Niagara Falls History Museum (5810 Ferry Street)
- Pirate-Themed "I Spy Bottle" Workshop: A scavenger hunt through the galleries followed by a creative keepsake craft filled with sand, sparkle, and discovered treasures.
Gale Centre Arena (5152 Thorold Stone Road)
- Public Skating and Youth Stick and Puck are available throughout the day.
Niagara Falls Public Library
- PD Day Activities at Various Library Locations: Including board games, crafts, obstacle challenges, scavenger hunts, and more.
Family Day - Monday, February 16
MacBain Community Centre (7150 Montrose Rd.)
- Melt Bead Creations: Create colourful melt bead designs. All supplies are provided.
- Drop-in programs are available.
Niagara Falls Exchange & Niagara Falls History Museum
- Earth Rangers Live Animal Shows: An interactive experience featuring animal ambassadors, inspiring conversation, and environmental awareness. Sponsored by Ontario Power Generation.
Gale Centre Arena (5152 Thorold Stone Road)
- Public skating is available.
Niagara Falls Public Library
- Family Day Activities at Various Library Locations: Featuring crafts, games, scavenger hunts, and interactive fun for all ages.
