NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Niagara Falls is set to reclaim its place among Canada’s premier destinations for ringing in the New Year as a live outdoor concert returns to the brink of the Falls for the first time since 2019. Produced by the Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®), in partnership with Niagara Parks and the City of Niagara Falls, the highly anticipated celebration will feature country music superstar Riley Green as headliner, joined by celebrated Canadian artists The Reklaws, Tenille Townes and Sacha for an unforgettable night of live music against the backdrop of one of the world’s most iconic natural landmarks.

The return of this iconic New Year’s Eve tradition will bring live music, a spectacular setting and a national audience together for a memorable countdown against the backdrop of one of the world’s most recognizable natural landmarks.

The live 90-minute CCMA’s New Year’s Eve Special from Niagara Falls brings the iconic Canadian landmark to viewers across the country beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET, available on Crave Standard with Ads and Premium plans, as well as through a free Bell Media account, and on CP24. With interviews and coverage available on iHeartRadio Canada and PURE Country, the special will also be available on Crave on demand to provide audiences with another opportunity to experience the performances and celebration.

For decades, Niagara Falls has been synonymous with spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations, welcoming visitors and audiences from across Canada and around the world. Past outdoor concerts have featured renowned performers, including Bryan Adams, Nick Jonas, and Keith Urban. This year’s return marks an exciting new chapter in that legacy, bringing country music to the forefront of one of the country’s most celebrated year-end destinations.

“Bringing a live New Year’s Eve concert back to Niagara Falls is an exciting milestone for our destination and an opportunity to create a memorable experience for residents and visitors alike,” said David Adames, Chief Executive Officer, Niagara Parks. “With the CCMA joining us, Riley Green headlining, an incredible lineup of Canadian talent and Bell Media bringing the celebration to audiences across the country, we’re building on Niagara Falls’ legacy as a world-class destination for major events. We look forward to welcoming Canadians back to the brink of the Falls to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.”

“Niagara Falls hosts 14 million people each year, so we know how to roll out the red carpet – and we can’t wait to be able to do that again for the biggest celebration of the year, as we reach viewers across the country with our New Year’s Eve Show!” said Mayor Jim Diodati, City of Niagara Falls. “For decades Niagara Falls was the place to be on New Year’s Eve and bringing back this show means so much to our community and to visitors who look to experience the magic of the falls alongside incredible country music and an unforgettable party!  Welcome to Niagara Falls CCMA, Bell Media and Riley Green!  Let’s have the best party to kick off 2027!”

“Country music has a remarkable ability to bring people together, and there is no more spectacular backdrop for a national celebration than Niagara Falls,” said Amy Jeninga, President, Canadian Country Music Association. “The CCMA is proud to partner with Niagara Parks, the City of Niagara Falls and Bell Media for this special event, bringing the energy and spirit of country music to one of the country’s most iconic destinations. With Riley Green leading the lineup alongside Canadian favourites The Reklaws, Tenille Townes, and Sacha, we’re looking forward to an unforgettable night that connects fans and audiences across the country.”

“With memorable performances set against the backdrop of Niagara Falls, people across the country can come together to enjoy the return of this New Year’s Eve tradition,” said Sarah Cummings, Director, Radio Content for iHeartRadio Canada and Orbyt Media, Bell Media. “Building on Bell Media’s relationship with the Canadian Country Music Association, and together with our partners at Niagara Parks and the City of Niagara Falls, Canadians can experience the atmosphere and excitement of the concert as they ring in the new year on Crave and CP24, with interviews and coverage on iHeartRadio Canada.”

As anticipation builds, the landmark countdown clock overlooking the Falls at Table Rock is already counting down to December 31. Originally installed to build excitement for FIFA World Cup 2026™ celebrations, the clock now serves as a reminder of the approaching return of one of Niagara Falls’ most anticipated New Year’s Eve traditions.

Beyond the celebration itself, the event represents a strategic investment in Niagara Falls as a year-round tourism destination. The return of a live concert and special is expected to help drive visitation during the winter season, support local businesses and showcase the region to audiences across Canada.

The event also reflects Niagara Parks’ continued commitment to destination-building through signature events and experiences that enhance visitor offerings, activate public spaces and leverage the international profile of Niagara Falls to support tourism growth and economic development throughout the region.

Since first breaking out with songs like the No. 1 2x-PLATINUM (3x PLATINUM in Canada) “There Was This Girl,” the 3X-PLATINUM (U.S. & Canada)  “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” and chart-topping collaborations including the 2x PLATINUM (Canada) “Half Of Me,” 4x PLATINUM (Canada) “you look like you love me,” and the 2x PLATINUM (Canada) “Different Round Here,” Green has built a career on timeless storytelling that cuts through trends and connects directly with listeners resulting in seven No.1 songs.

Among dozens of accolades thus far, Green has won five ACM Awards, picked up four CMA Awards, and received multiple career nominations from the American Music Awards, CMT Awards, and recognitions as Billboard’s Hitmaker of the Year, MusicRow Breakout Artist of the Year, a CMT Listen Up Artist, and one of CRS’s New Faces of Country Music.

Beyond music, Green continues to expand his reach with several major career milestones. He recently made his acting debut on CBS’ Marshals, portraying Garrett, a former Navy SEAL, and was announced as a coach for Season 30 and 31 of The Voice.

Green’s third record, Don’t Mind If I Do arrived in 2024 and found him with his breakout hits following its release including “Don’t Mind If I Do,” “Change My Mind,” “Jesus Saves,” and his third Country airplay No.1 and solo-cut “Worst Way,” which has led to widespread critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone praising, “He also has an uncommon ear for memorable hooks.”

An avid outdoorsman, sports fan, and former Jacksonville State University quarterback, Green continues to make an impact beyond music through his brand Duck Club Bourbon and his charitable initiative, Buford Bonds Charitable Fund, which supports community-focused causes and honors the values and small-town spirit that continue to shape both his life and career.
