NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls will recognize the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) for its continued financial contributions to the community during a ceremony at Prince Charles Park Pool on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

Between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, OLG provided $18,214,921 to the City of Niagara Falls through its Municipality Contribution Agreement. These funds help support infrastructure improvements, community amenities, and municipal projects that enhance the quality of life for residents.

Prince Charles Park Pool is one example of how these contributions are making a difference. Recent improvements to the facility include a renovated pool deck, new bench seating, and a modern shade structure, creating a more comfortable and welcoming space for visitors.

“OLG truly values being a long-standing partner in the City of Niagara Falls and communities across Ontario,” said Kathleen Devine, OLG’s Senior Municipal Relations Manager. “Every dollar of OLG’s profit is returned to Ontario to support the things people care about most, like critical infrastructure, local initiatives, grant programs and community events. Those dollars are making a difference here in Niagara Falls. The impact wouldn’t be possible without the great team at Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort, whose work supports both the local economy and community well-being. When you play at an Ontario casino, you play for Ontario.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will feature comments from Mayor Diodati, representatives from OLG, and Casino Operators Mohegan.

The ceremony will take place beside the pool deck at Prince Charles Park, 6320 Arad Street, Niagara Falls. Parking is free but limited.
