Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame Nomination Deadline: Friday, May 8, 2026

NIAGARA FALLS, ON — The City of Niagara Falls is now accepting nominations for the Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame, recognizing athletes, teams, builders, and sponsors who have made a lasting impact on sport in the community.

Nominations are accepted year-round, but must be received by Friday, May 8, 2026, to be considered for this year’s inductions.

Sports Wall of Fame Purpose

The Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame honours athletes and teams whose achievements have brought pride to the community, as well as builders who have helped grow and support sport in Niagara Falls.

A Sponsor Award is also presented to organizations that have made a significant contribution to local sport over a period of at least five years.

The Sports Wall of Fame is located at the Gale Centre (5152 Thorold Stone Road), with plaques displayed in the main concourse. Residents can also explore past inductees through the Virtual Sports Wall of Fame.
