City of Niagara Falls Seeking Santa Claus Parade Entries and Volunteers

NIAGARA FALLS, ON — The City of Niagara Falls is inviting local organizations, businesses, community groups and volunteers to take part in the annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 14, beginning at 4 p.m.

The parade will travel from Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street to Centennial Square, where post-parade festivities will begin at approximately 5:15 p.m. and include the Niagara Health Foundation Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, free live entertainment and a meet-and-greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Call for parade entries

  • Local organizations, clubs, schools, businesses and community groups are invited to showcase their holiday spirit by entering a float, walking group or performance in this year’s parade.
  • Parade entries must be submitted by Sunday, October 11, using the City’s official Parade Entry Form.

Call for volunteers

  • The City is also looking for volunteers to help bring the parade to life. A variety of positions are available, including costumed characters, banner carriers and Santa’s helpers.
  • Those interested in volunteering are asked to complete the Volunteer Application Form.
