City of Niagara Falls Remembrance Day Service

NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The public is invited to attend the City of Niagara Falls Remembrance Day Service to honour those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
This year's service will once again be held outdoors at the Cenotaph beside the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Fairview Cemetery, located at 4501 Stanley Avenue, on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 10:45 a.m.
Continuing a tradition that began in 1999, local cadets will hold an overnight vigil at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier leading up to Remembrance Day. The vigil, which sees cadets standing watch in silent reflection, honours Canada's fallen heroes and symbolizes the commitment of younger generations to remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The annual Remembrance Day Service will also be livestreamed for residents unable to attend in person. The livestream will be available on Wednesday, November 11, beginning at 10:45 a.m., on the City's Facebook and YouTube channels.
