City of Niagara Falls launches new Planning, Building & Development CityView Chat service

NIAGARA FALLS, ON -  The City of Niagara Falls has introduced a new way to support builders, developers, and residents navigating the City’s Planning, Building, and Development application and permit process. Starting today, the department has launched CityView Chat, a live online service dedicated exclusively to users of the CityView Portal.

The CityView Portal is the City’s online platform for submitting building permit applications, planning applications, and development-related requests and making associated payments. With the launch of CityView Chat, applicants can now connect directly with Planning, Building, and Development staff for real-time assistance during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

CityView Chat is designed to help users with:

  • Submitting building permit and planning applications
  • Making payments through the Portal
  • Navigating the CityView system

CityView Chat is a specialized tool created for the Planning, Building & Development Department. Its purpose is to provide enhanced support for the development industry while fostering stronger engagement with residents on planning and building initiatives within Niagara Falls.
