City of Niagara Falls Invites Youth to Perform National Anthem at Council Meetings

NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls and City Council are offering a unique opportunity for local singers and musicians to perform O Canada at Council meetings throughout 2026.

We’re looking for school-aged children and teens to lead the anthem, but all ages are welcome to participate. Soloists, groups, and choirs can apply for a chance to be featured at the start of a Council meeting in Council Chambers.

How to Apply:

Key Details
  • Must be a Niagara Falls resident
  • Performances can be live in Council Chambers or pre-recorded for virtual playback
  • Featured on the City’s YouTube livestream and YourTV Community channel (Epico 100 & 700)
  • Performances are voluntary and not compensated
