City of Niagara Falls Invites Community Input on Unhoused Action Plan at March 26 Open House

NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Engagement continues as residents and community partners are invited to attend an upcoming Open House for the City’s Unhoused Action Plan on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the MacBain Community Centre.
Community members are welcome to drop in at any time during the two available sessions: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Residents do not need to attend for the full session. The open house will provide an opportunity to review information about the initiative and share feedback by completing a short survey.
Residents are encouraged to share their ideas and perspectives to help shape practical, effective solutions that support individuals experiencing homelessness while strengthening the community as a whole.
The Unhoused Action Plan will guide a more coordinated and proactive response to homelessness and related challenges in Niagara Falls, including hunger, public drug use, illegal activity, and disruptive behaviour in public spaces.
The initiative is being led by Ken Todd, former Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Niagara Falls, whose leadership and long-standing commitment to the community will help guide the development of the plan.
All input collected through the engagement process will inform recommendations presented to Niagara Falls City Council in June 2026.
