City of Niagara Falls accepting nominations for Volunteer Recognition Awards
NIAGARA FALLS, ON — The City of Niagara Falls is now accepting nominations for its annual Volunteer Recognition Awards. Nominations are open until Friday, October 9, 2026, and can be submitted online at niagarafalls.ca/awards.
The Volunteer Recognition Awards celebrate individuals, organizations and businesses that give their time and talents to make a positive difference in Niagara Falls. This year’s awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at the Niagara Falls Exchange.
Award categories include:
- Stamford Collegiate Alumni Association Award in Memory of Barbara Frum
- Civic Pride Award
- Environment Award
- George MacPhail Award
- Senior Volunteer of the Year Award
- Youth Volunteer of the Year Award
- BeNF Award
- Doug Austin Award
- Individual Volunteer Award
- Corporate Sponsor Award
