Parking in our municipal lots is easy and convenient! You can park daily and pay easily using the HONK app right from your phone. Monthly permits are also available in some lots. Use our maps to find a lot near you and check rates before you park.

Lot closure notices

  • Lot 5, located at College Crescent, is closed during the winter season but open the rest of the year
  • Lot 10, located at the corner of Park Street and Crysler Avenue, is closed and not available for public parking

Permit details

  • Permits are available in the Traffic and Parking Section at the MacBain Centre, 7150 Montrose Road, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We accept Interac, cheque, or cash
  • Permits are issued monthly, on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to previous permit holders. Please call first  at 905-356-7521 x 4700 to find out if the lot you want has permits available for purchase
  • Not every municipal lot has a monthly permit option
  • We also save spaces for daily parking options in some of the lots where monthly permits are sold
  • The City of Niagara Falls is not responsible for damage to your vehicle or loss of contents

Daily parking rates 

  • Sometimes flat rates or event rates will be in effect
  • You can use your accessible parking permit:
    • It's free! If you have a valid accessible parking permit, you can park in municipal parking lots for free for up to the maximum time allowed. Just make sure your permit is clearly displayed, so you don’t get a ticket.
    • Check our Accessible Parking Permits page to learn more about how to apply to the Ministry of Transportation.
