Traffic signals help keep everyone safe on our streets. You can report issues, including damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment, to help keep roads safe for all users.
Report a traffic signal issue
You can report a traffic signal issue in a few easy ways:
- Complete the online form
- Phone 905-356-7521
- Email service@niagarafalls.ca, including the location, type of issue, and any additional details (e.g., time of day, direction of travel, description of the problem).
Note: Reports are reviewed by City staff and prioritized based on safety and urgency.
If this is an emergency (e.g. broken traffic signal), please call the Niagara Region at 905-984-3690.
What to do when a traffic signal is not working
Flashing red: Treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
No lights are working at the intersection: Treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
