Chippawa Boat Ramp Park

A free day-use public dock and boat ramp on the Welland River. This facility provides boaters with seasonal access to the Welland River and the Upper Niagara River. On-site paid parking is available. Ample seating is available for non-boaters to enjoy the scenic views of the Welland River. When not busy, the docks can be a good spot to try a bit of fishing. A small playground was constructed in 2013 by volunteers as part of a TVO television series "Giver"(Season 2, Episode 5, Airdate May 28, 2014). The expansion and improvement of the dock and waterfront space was a partnership project between the City of Niagara Falls, the Chippawa Public Docks Committee and Ontario Power Generation. The waterfront was named "Naisbitt Parkette" in 2016.
