Dedicated in honour of Edward E. Mitchelson, who was Councillor and Reeve of Stamford Township. The park is a hub of community and sports activities. It features an artificial turf soccer/football field, natural soccer fields, a playground, a splashpad, tennis courts, washrooms and parking. Many mature shade trees are found throughout the park.
