Michael Madden dedicated a lifetime of passion, talent, and experience to the performing arts in Niagara Falls and beyond. Michael taught drama at NFCVI and then at Stamford Collegiate, retiring in 1998. Over his almost 30-year teaching career, he inspired many young people to pursue the performing arts through his teaching, mentoring and performance opportunities. Michael’s ability to connect with students and his contagious love of theatre produced many performers who continue to contribute to the arts in Niagara Falls.

He was also a valued member of the Firehall Theatre for more than 40 years. He was actively involved in all aspects of the Theatre as a board member, actor, director and producer. Michael was truly a part of the fabric of this organization. Michael passed in November of 2024, but his legacy will continue to influence the arts scene in Niagara Falls for years to come.
