Special Recognition Event for John McCall MacBain

Niagara Falls, ON - November 3, 2016 - The City of Niagara Falls is pleased to invite the public and the media to the Special Recognition Event of philanthropist and Niagara Falls native, John McCall MacBain. The event will be held on “John McCall MacBain Day” in Niagara Falls, and will recognize the many contributions John has made to our community. A section of the Millennium Trail has been named in his honour, as the “John McCall MacBain Pathway”. The trail will be formally dedicated to John at the event.

On June 30, 2016, John was named to the Order of Canada. The Order of Canada is one of the country’s highest civilian honours, recognizing outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation.
