June is Recreation & Parks Month – Join us for some Family Fun!

Niagara Falls, ON, May 18, 2016 – The City of Niagara Falls invites you to join the fun at our first ever “June is Recreation & Parks Month” event on Wednesday, June 1st ,2016. The event will run from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Rosberg Family Park (located at the corner of Queen Street and Erie Ave). The event is free with something for everyone!

The event kicks off at 4:00 pm with Greetings from Mayor Jim Diodati and will be followed with a Walk with the Mayor at 4:05 pm and a Fun Run with Councillor Mike Strange at 4:15 pm.

The following activities will be taking place from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the park:

  • Lots of FREE giveaways,
  • Launch and distribution of the new trails map
  • Inflatable Bounce and Slide
  • FREE Face Painting
  • Barbeque - with proceeds to the United Way
  • FREE popcorn
  • Complimentary bike safety checks by Inception Cyclery

Enjoy the Olympic Torch Run Legacy Trail - this beautiful section of trail starts in Rosberg Family Park and ends at Falls Avenue. It is approximately 3 km in length. We hope that you and your family will join the fun!
