Niagara Falls, ON, March 7, 2016 – The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee of Niagara Falls has once again partnered with Niagara Falls Transit to offer a student rate for March Break! Fifty Cent Bus Rides will be offered from Saturday, March 12th to Sunday, March 20th inclusive.
The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) is made up of 25 students with five representatives from each of the five Niagara Falls high schools. MYAC provides a voice for the youth of Niagara Falls informs Council of important matters affecting youth and acts as a positive advocate for youth.
The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee took on this initiative to further provide the youth of Niagara Falls with transportation independence. By choosing public transit, these students are representing part of the solution to reduce greenhouse gases while fully and affordably enjoying all their City has to offer.
With the support of City Council and the help of Niagara Falls Transit, Fifty Cent Bus Rides will provide a great chance to visit with friends and family, go shopping, take-in a show and have lunch… all for one dollar for your two way trip!
