The Canadian Red Cross & McMaster University are launching a unique health initiative called the Cardiovascular Health Awarerness Program. The goal of this program is to improve the cardiovascular health of older adults in Niagara. We are seeking volunteers 18+ for a minimum of 3 hours/month for at least 6 months. Minds in Motion is a program that combines physical activity, mental & social stimulation for people living with early to mid-stage Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, and their care partners. The two-hour per week program runs for eight weeks. Registration required. Cost for 8-week session: $40/per couple.

Community Outreach Worker
