Those interested in working the Provincial Election, please visit the Elections Ontario website.

Interested persons may apply for the various positions for the election consisting of:

-       Supervising Deputy Returning Officers (SDRO),

-       Deputy Returning Officers (DRO),

-       Tabulating Deputy Returning Officers (TDRO), and

-       Information Assistants (IA).

Those interested in working will be required to complete an application form, for review by election staff, and deliver it in person to the Clerk's Office at City Hall.  Candidate's, the candidate's spouse, a member of a candidate's immediate family, or a person connected to a candidate's election campaign (to the best knowledge of Clerk's staff), will not be hired.  All Election Workers must have use of a vehicle on Election Day.

Attendance at a training session is mandatory for all election workers.  To enhance the retention of information, training will occur as close to voting day as possible, i.e. During the week preceding voting day.  Comprehensive training manuals will be made available prior to and during training sessions for all Election Day personnel covering all job responsibilities and potential situations that may arise.
