Effective February 1, 2023: The City of Niagara Falls is excited to announce that our open tender process has gone paperless and Suppliers are now able to bid electronically online through our current Bidding System bids&tenders™.

Bidding System

This site allows potential bidders to create a Bidding System Account.
For step by step instructions on how to create an Account, please refer to the Supplier Support Portal
Suppliers may select various commodity codes for goods and services for which they wish to provide to the City. The Bidding System will then notify a Supplier by email of bid opportunities according to the commodity codes selected. Suppliers are solely responsible for ensuring their Bidding System Account information is kept current.

Bidders must have a current Account and be registered as a Plan Taker for the specific bid opportunity in order to submit their bid electronically. Questions for open Bid Opportunities are to be submitted through the Bidding System ONLY by clicking “Submit a Question” button for the specific bid opportunity. NOTE: To ensure receipt of email notifications generated from the bids&tenders™ system, please be sure to add noreply@bidsandtenders.ca to your safe senders list.

Digital Bonds

Please be advised that the City of Niagara Falls will ONLY be accepting verifiable and enforceable digital bonds for any bids issued after February 1, 2023. Scanned bonds (Bid Bond & Agreement to Bond) will not be accepted for bids. Bidders are encouraged to contact their surety provider well in advance of submitting a bid. More information about digital bonds can be found on the Surety Association of Canada (SAC) website. NOTE: If Bidders receive the digital Bid Bond and Agreement to Bond in one pdf from their surety provider, Bidders should upload the complete document in each applicable upload file section. DO NOT split or separate the document.

The following is a list of our current online bid opportunities. Please refer to the Status column as Open bid opportunities will automatically appear in the list. If you are seeking information on an opportunity that is not in an open status, select All in the drop-down list and type in a key search word applicable to the bid name to determine the status and results. A status of Cancelled is reflecting an opportunity that was cancelled prior to the closing date. A Terminated status is an opportunity that was cancelled after the closing date. A status of terminated is not a negative reflection of a bidder or their submission.
